Well…some of us don’t have a farm to take care of Gigi! I am retired and spend much of my time doing what I like. My house is small so there is not much up-keep.

El, Richelieu is actually the name of a crochet technique but I got the name from a border that I found in my stitch dictionary. It looks like something the good Cardinal would have worn!

Wowo! Where do you find the time to do all these great works? I am really amazed at your talents and perseverence. I find myself not having too much time evn to write on my blog. Mind you there are heaps to do on the farm…but still! Yu must be a very discipline lady…that is fantastic.

I hope you try it Lisa. The border section is simply long chains and double crochet–no triples or double triples.

Thank you Charlotte. I am disappointed in the photos since the scarf is actually much lighter and airier than it appears.

Lol! Embee, I am able to visualize fairly well and was able to look past the color changes. That sock yarn was all I had in fingering weight to make a test run!
